Getting Started

How do I convert a file?

Upload your file using the drop area or "Choose File" button, select the output format you want, then click Convert. Once processing finishes, a download link will appear automatically.

Do I need to create an account?

No. Our core conversion tools work without an account or sign-up. You only need an account if you want to save your conversion history or access premium features.

Can I convert multiple files at once?

Yes, most tools support batch uploads. Select or drag in multiple files, and each one will be converted individually and packaged together for download.

Which file formats are supported?

We support a wide range of document, image, audio, video, and spreadsheet formats. The available output options will automatically update based on the file type you upload.

File Size & Limits

Is there a maximum file size?

Free conversions support files up to a set size limit shown on the upload page. Larger files may require splitting or a premium plan with higher limits.

Why did my upload fail or time out?

This is usually caused by a slow connection, an oversized file, or high server demand. Try again with a smaller file or a stronger connection, and check our status page if the issue persists.

Quality & Output

Will converting reduce the quality of my file?

We aim to preserve the original quality as closely as the target format allows. Some conversions (such as lossy image or video formats) may involve minor, inherent quality trade-offs based on the format itself, not our tool.

Can I adjust settings like resolution, compression, or page range?

Many of our tools offer optional advanced settings before conversion, such as resolution, compression level, or specific page ranges. Look for the "Advanced Options" toggle on the tool page.

Why does my converted file look different from the original?

Formatting differences can occur when converting between formats with different capabilities, such as converting a PDF to an editable Word document. Complex layouts, fonts, and embedded objects are the most common cause.

Privacy & File Security

Do you store or view my files?

No. Files are uploaded only to perform the conversion you request and are automatically deleted afterward. We don't review or use your file contents for any other purpose. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

How long are converted files kept before deletion?

Converted files are available for download for a short window after processing, after which they are automatically and permanently deleted from our servers.

Is it safe to convert sensitive documents?

We apply reasonable security measures during transmission and processing. That said, we recommend avoiding uploads containing highly sensitive information, such as government ID or financial account numbers, unless necessary.

Troubleshooting

My download link isn't working. What should I do?

Download links expire after a short period for security reasons. If your link has expired, simply re-upload and convert your file again.

The converted file won't open. What's wrong?

Make sure you're opening the file with software compatible with the output format. If the issue continues, try re-converting the file or reach out to our support team with details of the error.

My conversion is stuck at "Processing." What can I do?

Large files or high server load can occasionally slow things down. Give it a few extra minutes; if it doesn't complete, refresh the page and try again.

Can I get a refund?

Refund eligibility depends on your plan and how recently you were charged. Contact our support team and we'll be happy to look into your specific situation.
